Our History

In his early years founder Ron Roth's entrepreneurial spirit formed. Whether he was selling products door to door or mowing the Happy Valley Park fields, his competitive nature and desire to deliver on his promises was something that would become a part of his identity. 

As a recent high school graduate Ron knew he wanted to build on his entrepreneurial spirit and start a business of his own. In order to become an industry expert he relied on his mentors Jeff and Ken Celorie at Celorie Brothers to guide and teach him the foundations of trucking. At 18 years old he used his lawn mowing money to purchase his first Ford dump truck and in 1984 RA Roth & Sons Construction was born.

The Company could not have grown to where it is today without the hard work and dedication of the executive team and loyal employees. What started as a one man owner operator and one truck company has evolved into a full service construction company with over 40 hardworking employees, 20+ dump trucks, heavy equipment, screening plants and much much more. Most importantly, RA Roth & Sons realizes the importance of building and maintaining great relationships with valued contractors they get to partner with every day. 

The growth over the past 38 years has been exponential but that does not stop Ron and the executive team from innovating and looking for ways to position RA Roth to better serve the contractors they support. Ron still enjoys going to work every day and takes great pride in providing his team with positions that promote personal and professional growth. He strives to keep the company successful and culture strong to continue the growth and success for many years to come.
